Happy Birthday Madee

We all had a great time at Madee's birthday party. It was out at Jubilee Farms. Kai loved seeing all the farm animals. I think his favorites were the cow, the gray duckling, and the pigs! He even tried the pony ride and he rode with a smile on his face the entire time!! I'm so proud of him! Kaden usually hung back with me since he was unsure of the animals. The hayride around the farm was fun as well. We got to see the horses (one of them pregnant and due very soon!) and around the lake.

Day at the Zoo

Today we planned on a family fun day at the zoo since Jeremy was off from work. We left this morning so we could beat the heat. The boys had so much fun seeing the animals at the Montgomery Zoo. Kai loved playing on the big playground that they have set up (and in the shade!). Kaden was a little small. We got to see tigers, lions, giraffes, elephants, and many more animals. We can't wait to go back when Kai gets a little taller so he can go on the pony rides! We had an awesome time and can't wait to go back!

Play date with Ava and Payton

Yesterday morning we joined our friends Ava and Payton (along with Mommies Amanda and Ashley) for a play date over at Felton Little park. The kids had a great time playing in the sand and going down the slides. For about the first hour Kaden wouldn't leave my side, but finally played in the sand. We had a bunch of fun and have agreed that we need to do this more often and in the mornings before the heat sets in!

Beach Fun

We went to the beach last weekend for a friend's wedding and here are a few pictures that we got while we were home. Congrats to Nathaniel and Leigha Robinson! It was fun to see old friends and spend some time on the beach of course!

Right before we left my parents house last weekend. Papa and Kai went upstairs to get a band aid and Kai saw one of bridal pictures hanging in my parents room. He said to my Dad "That's my Mama...she looks like a princess!" Aww my sweet sweet boy!!

As one of Kai's birthday presents from Nana and Papa was swim lessons. Every Tuesday night we go over to the pool for a Mommy and Me swim class. He LOVES the water. Kai is always laughing and wanting to try and swim on his own. This past week we worked on climbing out of the pool, sliding back in (with a jump to Mama here and there) and grabbing on the wall by himself. He did so good! He loves taking the noodle and swimming to his favorite rubber ducky. I love watching Kai playing in the water. I can't wait for Kaden's turn!

Let's start again..

After someone got in to my email last week and deleted my gmail and blog accounts I had to start over. I was so upset that I lost all of my posts from the previous blog. Here's to all of our new fun adventures!
